30-prompt test set: pass rate

Same 30 questions, same rubric (did the answer actually do the job, not whether it was polite). Base passed 18, jailbroken passed 29. Every miss was a case where the model knew the answer and chose not to give it.

Pass rate on a 30-prompt set: 60.0% for the base model vs 96.7% jailbroken

Method and limits

  • Prompt set: 30 fixed questions across code, writing, security assessment, multimodal reading and long-document summarisation.
  • Grading: task completion only. Refusals, disclaimers and direction-without-procedure count as failures.
  • Small sample, and models change; always cite the measurement date.
  • Requests went through a relay, not a direct vendor connection.
